He studied Directorship at the "Babeş-Bolyai"
University in Cluj. Between 2001 and 2003 he studied Theatrology at
Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität in Munich and Directorship at the "August
Everding" Theatre Academy in the same city. In 2006, he completed the
directorship MA studies at the "Babeş-Bolyai" University in Cluj. Since
2005 he has been a PhD student at the "Lucian Blaga" University in
Sibiu, where he is also involved in teaching activities.
As early as his college years, he staged and assisted the direction of several plays. From his early works we mention "Push Up 1-3" by Roland Schimmelpfennig. From his countless mises-en-scène for the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre in Sibiu we mention: "I Hired a Contract Killer" (Aki Kaurismäki), "Nora" (Henrik Ibsen), "Time for Love, Time for Death" (Fritz Kater), as well as "Hamlet"
(after William Shakespeare). He worked as guest director for first
class theatres in Romania, such as the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest or the
Hungarian State Theatre in Cluj.
He received countless awards and prizes, such as the UNITER Debut Award in 2005 for the show "Nora", after Ibsen.
